The idea behind this small collection of paintings was a simple one.

 Beauty.

 Beauty is important. It restores our soul, imbues in us hope and grants us solace but above all it brings us happiness. Beauty needs to be shared by everyone especially in the modern world when so much is simplified and pared back in the name of functionality and convenience.

 I have been wanting to revisit some of my favourite paintings for a while now and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. These little polaroids give you a glimpse, a small moment of the much larger masterpieces, but will still, I hope, imbue in you the pleasure and the delight that I had as I painted them.
