This is one artwork in a series of three that explores the complex relationship we have with our self-image and the insecurities we collect over time. Each painting depicts the same self-portrait photograph, yet they all reveal different facets of our inner struggles.

In this piece, new features are collaged over the face, symbolising the masks we create to present a more acceptable version of ourselves to the world.

This series captures the universal experience of grappling with insecurities and the lengths we go to conceal them. It speaks to the internal battle between the desire to be authentic and the fear of judgment, highlighting the profound impact these insecurities have on our self-perception and the way we present ourselves to others.
